The bathroom with a shower was amazing! It felt like a personal oasis, perfect for relaxing after a long day. As a guest who loves a good hot shower, this was a dream come true.
Honestly, the only thing I didn't love was the lack of a bathtub. But hey, that's just my personal preference, others might not mind at all!

The value for money at this Gite was amazing, with spacious and beautifully decorated rooms. The location was perfect for visiting WWI memorials and exploring the Nord and Pas de Calais departments. The host, Sylvie, was extremely welcoming and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.
Breakfast option: The only thing that could make the breakfast better would be to have a wider selection of toasting options, as the toaster was quite slow.

I had the most relaxing and peaceful stay at a charming gite in a quiet neighborhood. The owner, Sylvie, made sure every detail was taken care of, including homemade touches that added a special touch to the experience. The location was perfect, allowing me to easily explore Arras and visit the major WW1 battlefields within a short drive. The gite itself was spacious and had everything I needed, from a large fridge with iced water facility to an induction hot plate cooker. There was even a great multisports area nearby that my children absolutely loved! The beautiful countryside surrounding the gite provided a serene backdrop, and the park opposite with a football pitch was a delight. The rooms were bright and filled with interesting features, making my stay even more enjoyable. Parking was convenient and secure, and I was grateful for the warm welcome I received. I had a fantastic stay at Le Clos Du Carpe Diem and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful and comfortable getaway.

A superb house with large, beautifully decorated and clean rooms throughout. Fully equipped kitchen, great for couples or families. Wonderful homemade touches and a warm welcome from the host. Quiet location, perfect for a relaxing break. Multisports area nearby for the children to enjoy.
Internet was very poor, had to stay outside to get a signal. Would have been better if the internet was available inside the rooms.

The location was mind-blowing for exploring WWI memorials and nearby cities. The free Louvre Lens was super close. Sylvie was an amazing host, giving us gifts and being so helpful. The homemade touches in the gite were jaw-dropping and the neighborhood was very quiet for a relaxing break. Our kids loved the multisports area just over the road. The house was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and had super bright rooms with interesting features. We wish we could've stayed longer in this super convenient, comfortable, and interestingly decorated accommodation. With secure parking and a pleasant rural location, it was a perfect stay.

The cottage was well-equipped with all the comforts of home, including a washing machine, dishwasher, and fridge freezer. The lounge area was beautifully decorated and the outdoor sitting area was a nice bonus. The parking area easily accommodated two cars, and there was even a park with a football pitch right across the road. the location was perfect for exploring the Sommes battlefield, which was only a 40-minute drive away.
Although the overall experience was great, there were a few minor inconveniences. The bathroom could have had a separate bath, considering the available space.

We got great value for our money at this lovely gite. The room was spacious and full of interesting features, exceeding our expectations. The location was peaceful and surrounded by beautiful countryside. The staff, especially Sylvie, our host, were incredibly kind and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing break.
The morning meal could be improved with better lighting in the kitchen, especially during the winter months. However, during the summer, the room has plenty of natural light to compensate for this.

From our arrival to our departure, Sylvie at Le Clos du Carpe Diem was a fantastic host. the gite itself was amazing, with all the amenities you would need for a longer break. We highly recommend staying with Sylvie. Why pay more for a soulless chain hotel room when you could have a whole house?
Nothing for me 😊.
